1. Complete one house project per week (even little ones!)
2. Floss daily
3. Read the bible, pray & have devotions more often
4. Run the Nashville 1/2 marathon
5. Refrain from getting pregnant

I know, it's a miracle I post anything at all! We had an awesome Christmas morning at home and spent the afternoon with aunts, uncles, & cousins in Illinois.

What Say You? A Vacation?!

Oh. my. goodness. We are going on a family vacation! We are headed to California for a long weekend retreat with family and uh.. alone! It's true. Mom & Dad are going to watch the babies while we peruse the streets of LA for funky hip coffee shops and flea markets. It's Valentine's Day. We plan to go to the beautiful Getty Museum where we had our first date and fell madly in love. On Sunday, Brent is taking me to my favorite flea market, The Melrose Trading Post and then for Brazilian food @ the farmer's market. Oh and of course catch up with old friends over the weekend. I'm giddy with excitement!

My husband works too much.

So we have decided to sell the house & go on the road with our two piece family rock band. The children will draw the crowds. Milo will come too.

All Dolled Up!

I love to dress up in a fancy-smanshy dress. I also love to hang on my dashingly handsome husband's arm when we go out. Both of these happened at the lovely Barbara-Bartholomew wedding a couple of weeks ago. Such fun.

When I am rich I will shop at Anthropologie and buy the things pictured below. I will not look at the $388 price tag.

A Camping We Will Go

We are campers. Well, sort of. But I dream of camping like this. I mean, how beautiful, right!

This is how we really camp. It's fun, dirty, and we chill with the bugs. Real outdoorspeople. Yes we are.

The Roam Family Blog

I have had good intentions to create a blog for quite some time now. I've been inspired by my cousin, Shanna Gourley, who consistently keeps up her blog. I have a feeling I will create this blog, be attentive to it for a good few months, and drop it as I do most projects when the newness wears off. Ah, I always say -better to start and never finish than not start at all. Ha, my husband might disagree :)


My bloggie vision is to post photos, videos, and small written excerpts of our family life. Also included will be my love for fashion, art, music and design. I imagine this blog will be a hodge podge of my interests and the happenings of our family. I hope you enjoy our blog!
